Summary
übersendet nach Absprache mit Heinrich Baermann das Freischütz-Libretto für das Münchner Hoftheater; bekundet seine Freude, dadurch mit Stich in Kontakt zu treten: “According to the communications of my friend Mr. Bernan [recte Baermann], I have the honour to most respectfully send you on his behalf the book of my Opera ‘The Freischutze’ for representation at the Royal Town Theatre. It is to me a special pleasure at this opportunity to come in closer contact with a man to whom Munich owes the new life of its stage.” Den Brief von Baermann hatte Weber laut Tagebuch am 22. Oktober 1821 erhalten.
