Summary: klagt über schlechtes Wetter und seine Unlust zum Schreiben, schickt ihm ein ungebundenes Buch mit eigenen Erzählungen, weil er mit dem Einband nicht zufrieden ist, erwähnt, dass durch Unachtsamkeit des Verlegers die letzte Erzählung eigentlich den Anfang zu “Hannchen” machen sollte. Dieses Buch hat er in einer Zeit geschrieben, in der er “an Leib und Seele krank” war. Bedauert, dass er in Hirschberg von Literatur abgeschnitten sei, bittet um baldige Nachricht von ihm
