Summary: teilt ihm wörtlich die Zeitungsnotiz aus dem Tageblatt vom 24. Dezember 1826 zur Leipziger EA des Oberon am gleichen Tage mit. Die Besetzung will er ihm vom Theaterzettel abschreiben. Des weiteren fragt er an, ob J. ihm die autographe Partitur zur Bach-Kantate Gott wie dein Name, so ist auch dein Ruhm (BWV 171), die er besitzt, ausleihen könnte, da er mit einem Kantatenband beschäftigt ist, in den sie hineingehört.
