Summary: teilt mit, dass vor 14 Jahren das deutsche Theater aufhörte Stadttheater zu sein und alle Materialien versteigert wurden, trotz vieler Bemühungen hat er nicht feststellen können, wo die Freischütz-Partitur hingekommen ist. Des weiteren gilt der Brief der Erörterung der unterschiedlichen Fassungen der Eremiten-Stelle. Er teilt noch mit, dass der Freischütz in ungarischer Sprache seine EA 1824 am ständischen Theater in Klausenburg hatte. Er glaubt, dass die bewußten 12 Takte von Weber selbst herrühren und über Wien den Eingang in den österr.-ungar. Raum gefunden haben
