Summary: relativiert die generöse Spende Adolf Henselts für das Eutiner Weber-Denkmal und vergleicht sie mit Paganinis 10.000 frcs-Spende für Berlioz. Auch für das 50-jährige Jubiläum von Benedict sind leicht über 30.000 M zusammengekommen, er meint, dass bei reichen Leuten das Geld auch leichter fließt. Legt einen Ausschnitt aus der Musical Times vom Juni 1884 bei, in dem er auf die Denkmal-Aktion in Eutin für 1886 hinweist und ist auch bereit, den Fortgang der Sache immer wieder zu kommentieren. Schlägt vor, dass sie sich bei der Enthüllungsfeier zum Denkmal in Eutin persönlich kennenlernen sollten
