Summary: überhäufte Geschäfte hätten ihn abgehalten, den Empfang seines Gedichtes zu bestätigen; dankt für Vertrauen; da er nicht wisse, welches seiner Werke ihm willkommen sei, verweist er ihn an Schlesinger, bei dem er sich etwas aussuchen soll: “Overwhelming business has prevented me hitherto from acknowledging the reciept of your poetry, but allow me now to express my approbation of your sympathizing interest in me. As I do not know which sort of my works would be most acceptable as a return for your kindness, I will trouble you to request the music seller Mr. Schlossinger [sic!] at E—r [sic!] to present you with one, I have the honour of being your devoted, – C. M. von WEBER”
