Summary: Will gerade verreisen, stimmt der Illustration seiner Arbeit (Aufsatz?) durch Herrn Thumann zu. Anordnung überläßt er ganz ihm. Leider bietet sein Aufsatz keine Gelegenheit, das besondere Talent des Illustrators, “elegante und reizende Frauengestalten zu zeichnen”. Er hätte Lust, eine Szene einzuschalten, damit Herr Th. sein Talent abermals beweisen könne. Er wird auf der Reise darüber nachdenken.
